Self explanatory. I went through a divorce many years ago. Although I am close with my ex husband and his family still, I learned one BIG lesson in then end. The text in the background is from a song that got me through a lot of tough times.

A movie we all know. This house sitting all by itself in a beautiful landscape, spoke to me. This is my interpretation of that iconic image.
Longevity
Plants are one of the few physical things that are my happy place. Give them the smallest amount of love and they flourish. Self gratification at its finest. My favorite plant is a Monstera. It represents Longevity.

Taking care of your mind, body and soul is so important. To take care of my mind, I create illustrations. Self care is an integral part of my life.
Haunted
Inspired by an iconic ride located in the Happiest Place on Earth. This is my interpretation of the vibes I get from this ride, and how oddly relaxing it is to experience it.
Advocate
Being in a world where it is seriously difficult to exist as a woman, there were many years of my younger life where I felt I couldn’t advocate for myself. Now that I have grown on many levels, I find that we need to help young females advocate for themselves. It has been pressed upon on that we “keep to ourself” or “turn a blind eye”. That is not how life works! ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!
Whimsiscapes
Years ago when I was updating the landscape at my home, I had issues figuring out what I wanted to do. There are so many options. Keep it simple? Make it a showcase? I didn’t have time for a crazy landscaping project so I turned to digital therapy to get the excessive landscaping thoughts out of my head.
Idiomatic
Idioms are odd to me. Let me explain. They describe exactly what my brain goes through every day but in an organized way. “Lightning in a Bottle”, “The pigs can fly”, “A needle in a haystack”. Idioms are a great representation of how I think on a daily basis. The definition of Idiom is ‘a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words’. Idioms are weird, but they make total sense to me!
Madness
Who doesn’t love this classic tale? Simply put, it is a solid representation of if what my brain goes through every day, actually happened.
